Last Saturday, Asher and Sam headed to Tracktown USA. Asher spent the majority of the race trying to chase down Tony Clement.

The two of them actually had a very similar situation at McKenzie River 50k, where Clement set a very hard, early pace.

Saturday, Asher felt the early effort, and really had to grind his way through some of the main climbing. Eventually Asher ran away with things, winning by 30 minutes & running 1:43:26.1, setting a new course record. This is the third race in a row that Asher has won. A nice streak.

Sam, who has been with the club for only 11 weeks, ran an electrifying race. With no competition near, Sam put in a serious solo effort running through the mud to shaved nearly nine minute off a very respectable course record running a time of 4:04:58.4.
