On April 13th, 2019, Tyler Van Dyke convincingly won the Pear Blossom 10 miler in a time of 54:20.

Tyler ran the first six miles conservative, before going to the front and putting pressure on the rest of the field. This 10 mile event, is held annually in Medford, OR, apart of the annual Pear Blossom parade and festival. This was the 65th year of the festival.

Tyler, who graduate from Eagle Point High School, and ran at Southern Oregon University for two years, had always wanted to compete in this Southern Oregon classic. This was his first time running the event.
