What is it?
Ultimook Youth Track Club is a running club designed for kids 1-8 grades.*
Our mission is to develop young runners in both mind and body. Young runners require a fun, supportive environment to aid in aerobic development.
Where and When?
Our club meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 5 p.m. at the Tillamook Junior High School’s fitness trail.
Our current spring season will begin the second week in April: April 8-June 8. Additional seasons will run through the summer months, with cross country in the fall.
What will we do?
Each practice we will provide runs that are age and fitness level appropriate.
Character lessons will be shared at all practices and satellite members will have online access to these lessons.
Throughout the season, athletes will have the opportunity to register and compete as a part of the Ultimook Youth Track Club for fun runs and track meets.
How can I be involved?
There are two Ultimook Youth membership options. The first option is to be a part of our local training group in Tillamook & Wilsonville (more locations added soon). The second option is to be a satellite member. Both membership options provide three practices per week, online coaches’ blog & social media, eligible to be on our track & cross country racing team, and additional guidance if desired.
