Running is hard! It’s hard physically. It’s hard mentally. It’s tough.

Each day that we come out to practice, we’re doing something challenging. So, what makes something tough, bearable? Or even fun?

Being in it together.

Being on a running team means that there’s someone else doing a similar run to you each time. They understand what you’re going through.

Whether it’s a coach, or a teammate, someone is with you each step of the way. To share in your struggles, and your success. Your teammates will be there when you think you can’t finish, and when you’re receiving that medal at the end of a race.

Encouragement is the root of team comradery. We’re in the culture of rooting each other on. So, give that teammate a fist bump, a high five, a good job, or a team cheer as we move through the season.
