May 18, Klamath Falls – Asher stuck his nose in the race, and ran with the leaders for 21 miles, ultimately falling off their quick pace, where he then finished 6th place in a time of 4:24:03. This was Asher’s second Ultra race, and first since last February where he competed in the US 50k Trail Championships. Lessons were learned, in Asher’s young pursuit of trail excellence.
Next Asher will run the Ultramook 50k on July 7th. The race in Tillamook features some of the best kept logging roads and trails in the PNW, where Asher and other competitors will climb more than 6,481ft of climbing.
