Only 1 Community Club run this week - Wednesday, July 24 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Neah-Kah-Nie High School.
There are two membership options. The Fun Run Membership option is for those who just want to get together and run in a group and have some fun. The Premium Race Membership option is for those who have running goals and want to train a little harder. Premium members will have access to generalized training plans and set some race goals. This summer we will have two weekly runs, on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm starting at the Neah-Kah-Nie High School track and Thursdays at 5:15 pm starting at the Tillamook Junior High School activity trail. We will also host a monthly beach run the 1st Saturday of the month at 11:00 am. Our next beach run will be August 3 starting at the Wayside Park in Rockaway Beach. All ages & abilities welcome. Eric Brinkert, Community Club Director
Eric Brinkert has competed in almost every distance from 50m to the Half Marathon. Eric was a sprinter and hurdler in high school and college, earning All-State honors twice in the High Hurdles for Oregon City High School. Eric went on to compete for Claremont McKenna College where he still ranks in the school’s Top 10 list for the High Hurdles, Intermediate Hurdles and 4x400m relay. In addition to working with the Community Track Club, Eric is also an assistant track coach for Tillamook High School.
Drew Wasmund, Elite Coach & Personal Trainer
Over the past decade, Drew has coached at the high school and collegiate level. Now with the Ultimook Track Club, Drew is focusing on developing post collegiate athletes and individually coaching athletes of all levels.
Patrick Zweifel, Track Club Director
Patrick is the head cross country and track coach at Tillamook High School. He has been a part of six state championship team titles, four as an athlete and two as a coach. He has three individual state titles and has coached numerous individuals to state titles. He competed collegiately at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is founder to both the Ultimook Race and Ultimook Running Camp.

Annual Tillamook Splash N Dash! 5k/10k, and .25 mile Kids Run! The 10k will begin at 9 am, followed by 5k at 9:30 am, and the Kids Run at 10 am. Register prior to April 9 to get a race shirt! Proceeds of the event go toward the improvement and maintenance of Bud's Community Fitness Trail, located on the Tillamook Junior High Campus. Come and enjoy an evening on the beach! Runners, walkers, and pets are all welcome to participate. This effort is a senior project and there will be no entry fee; donations are accepted. The 5k run/walk will take place at the Bay Ocean Spit on Sunday, April 14th at 6:30 pm.Find out more »

5k/10k 1 Mile Kids Run A wide expanse of hard-packed sand stretches from the cliffs of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain south to Nehalem Bay Jetty. 5k/10k Kids Run The run is an out and back on the beach, starting due west of the Pelican and running south to the turnaround point. There are often obstacles left by the surf and water features to navigate. This is a challenging run since it's all on the beach which is a mix of hard pack and soft sand.
